Norfolk Men Shot While Streaming Video On Facebook Live:

Three men in Norfolk, Virginia, sit in a car, smoking and singing along with rap lyrics. One of the men uses his smartphone to stream video of the fun to Facebook.

Now the video is evidence in a triple shooting. Police said Wednesday the video shows the shooting of three men in their late 20s, one of whom is in critical condition. The other two victims are “doing better” after initially being hospitalized Tuesday with life-threatening wounds, the department said in a news release.

The recording made Tuesday evening marks the second time in a week Facebook Live has given users a glimpse into the aftermath of a shooting.

Donald Trump’s vice presidential search turned into a head-spinning melodrama Wednesday as candidates vying for the spot hopped on planes and phones to perform frenzied, last-minute try-outs.

Suspected Overdose Of Synthetic Pot, K2, Sends 33 People To Brooklyn Hospitals:

Thirty-three people suspected of overdosing on K2, a type of synthetic marijuana, collapsed on the sidewalk in Brooklyn over an 11 hour period on Tuesday, said Det. Ahmed Nasser of the New York City Police Office of the Deputy Commissioner.

Beginning around 9:30 a.m. and lasting until 8:20 p.m. that evening, Emergency Medical Services of the New York City Fire Department picked up victims around Stockton Street in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood and transported them to local hospitals, including Interfaith Medical Center, Woodhull Medical Center, Brooklyn Hospital Center and Wyckoff Heights Medical Center.

The longtime NBA on TNT sideline reporter known for his colorful interviews and even more colorful outfits, was diagnosed with leukemia in 2014.

On Wednesday, he accepted the Jimmy V Perseverance Award at ESPN’s annual awards show,telling the audience that he “will never give up.”

“I will continue to keep fighting sucking the marrow out of life as life sucks the marrow out of me,” Sager said. “I will live my life full of love and full of fun. It’s the only way I know how.”
