COLUMBUS, Ohio – Six Columbus City high schools were the targets of vandalism overnight Thursday.

Both entrances to Marion Franklin High School were splattered with eggs and chocolate syrup.

The front entrance of Eastmoor Academy was covered in spray paint reading profanity and “Rocket Power Gang” and RPG.

“Our school is just vandalized. Spray painted… Egged up,” said Billy Crosby, a student at Eastmoor. “I feel disrespected.”

Independence and Walnut Ridge high schools had toilet paper thrown in trees covering the front doors. Walnut Ridge also had flour poured all over the school benches, as well as thick blue, purple and white paint.

CCSD officials tell 10TV administrators at South and Africentric high schools also reported vandalism.

District officials say they are reviewing school surveillance video and the responsible parties will be punished.

Columbus Police were given information that leads them to believe the people responsible are kids.
