The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio says a new area code is on its way in OHIO.
The plan was approved on Wednesday by the commission to add the 13th zip code. Residents in Dayton and Marysville will keep the current 937 zip code. The 326 code will be given to new areas within 937 zip code. This plan will start in 2020.
Main reason for the change is due to telecommunications saying they are running out of available numbers with the 937 zip code.
