Kudos to the Columbus Police Officers that saved the life of a distraught 17 yr old female that was attempting suicide. The young lady attempted to jump of the Greenlawn Avenue Bridge. A month later, the body cam footage has been released and it shows the young girl dangling her hand and feet from the edge of the bridge, as officers sprint towards her she looks in their direction and tells them, No.

Two officers, Kenneth Kropp and Anthony Sebastiano, reached the girl first and grabbed her arms. Two more officers raced up and helped to pull the teen back over the railing to safety.

The whole community is grateful for the actions of these kind officers. If you are having suicidal thoughts, please contact The National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273-8255.
