Two of our favorite men are in a P.S.A. all about the importance of mentorship, and it couldn’t be better.

President Barack Obama and Golden State Warrior Steph Curry partnered up for a fresh Mentor.Gov commercial that aired on ABC, The White House website and the NBA’s Instagram. In the short video Obama acts as Curry’s mentor, editing his resume, showing him how to shoot a basketball and playing Connect Four in the Oval Office.

“Incredible dancer?” Obama reads off Curry’s resume. “I don’t think people are going to believe you.”

The video is a smart vehicle to show the importance of guidance and having a mentor for children, specifically Black men. Other mentors are shown at work in the video as well.

As reported by Entertainment Weekly, just three days ago, Curry helped lead the Golden State Warriors to their 73rd regular season victory, which broke the record previously held by the Chicago Bulls. Obama was quick to react to the big win, writing, “Congrats to the @Warriors, a great group of guys on and off the court. If somebody had to break the Bulls’ record, I’m glad it’s them.”
