God is greater!
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
The first thing to be acknowledged is that we are “dear children”. We are not fatherless, orphans, or without covering. As an earthly father has the best interest of his children in mind, how much more will the perfect Father be sure that His children are covered.
When we approach life with this mentality it builds our peace and confidence even in the midst of chaos. We must understand that we overcome based on the fact that He has already overcome! We don’t overcome because our strength, intelligence, or wit. We overcome because of God who is inside us!
