2017 will go down as the deadliest year in Columbus history.

Not news we want to end 2017 with but it is being reported that this year was the deadliest on record.

Police found and identified a 57-year-old woman Rose Douthitt, who was found dead inside her home on Christmas Day. WBNS is reporting that police are ruling it as a homicide, making it the city’s 140th.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Columbus Police Homicide Unit at 614-645-4730 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-8477.
