This week’s topic: Resurrection
Resurrection Day is one of the best times, if not, THEE BEST TIME to celebrate. This is the day we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This is such a profound day. This is the day which Jesus conquered the grave and hell, which brought shame to the devil (Revelation 1:18). We are to look into this day and see what God has done for us in our lives. We are to exemplify what Christ did on this day. Take time to look at what has been done for your life. Didn’t you rise from some sort of ashes? Didn’t God raise you up from a dead state? Nothing can compare to the giving of your life the way Jesus did.
He sacrificed Himself for us (1 Peter 2:21-25). We received a gift of eternal life (John 3:16) through this sacrifice and are now able to rejoice and celebrate it on this wonderful day. God raised His Son from the dead and now we have eternal life because of His act of love. We have been risen Church! We have been changed! God has given us beauty for ashes. He has dusted us off and has given us life abundantly (John 10:10). On this Resurrection Day, Celebrate! Remember you have been risen with Christ. It is all about Jesus, but remember, He has made you a part of Him. Laugh in the devil’s face during the festivities and tell him you are no longer in the pig pen. You have been raised from out of the dead state and you live eternally with Jesus Christ. Yeshua!!!!
