Enough is enough and former President Barack Obama is finally speaking out against current President Donald Trump’s Muslim ban and his administration trying to imply they got the idea from him.

The statement was issued on Monday and Obama’s spokesman Kevin Lewis reportedly said that he is “heartened by the level of engagement taking place in communities around the country” because he believes they’re “citizens exercising their Constitutional right to assemble, organize and have their voices heard by their elected officials is exactly what we expect to see when American values are at stake.”

Since all heck broke loose after the Muslim ban was implemented by the president, many in his administration try to literally blame Obama by saying that the seven countries on the ban list were the same Obama had back in 2011. Lewis wasted no time to do some fact checking by saying Obama di not ban those with visas and green cards.

“With regard to comparisons to President Obama’s foreign policy decisions, as we’ve heard before, the president fundamentally disagrees with the notion of discriminating against individuals because of their faith or religion,” Lewis added.

“That’s not American. That’s not who we are. We don’t have religious tests to our compassion,” he said. “I think it is very important for us right now — particularly those who are in leadership, particularly those who have a platform and can be heard — not to fall into that trap, not to feed that dark impulse inside of us.”

Not to forget, Trump not only did not add one country that the 911 attackers were from and not one he has business deals with. Let that all sink in…
