In a rare occurrence of mass transportation, a chartered School Bus collided with a D.C. Metrobus on yesterday sending 43 kids and grown-ups to the hospital.

It all happened somewhere around 4:30 pm in the height of rush hour at the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Randolph Street in Northeast D.C., not far from the Prince George’s County line.

The young students were all taken to Children’s Hospital and the school bus driver and two more adults were transported to other hospitals with more serious injuries.

Investigation is still going on and no determination yet as to the cause of the accident.
