The CPD are currently investigating an overnight robbery that may have included the use of a pipe bomb south of Bexley early Thursday morning.

“The incident occurred at the Bexley Liquor Agency on Livingston Avenue just after midnight on Thursday.
It’s unclear thus far how the explosion occurred, but it may have been triggered by a pipe bomb. It’s also unknown if anyone was injured.
Police say they’re searching for a group of people who may have been riding ATV’s in the area at the time of the blast. However, it was not immediately clear if they are suspects or witnesses.
The Columbus Police Bomb Squad and arson investigators were on scene early Thursday morning probing the incident.”
