INDEPENDENCE, Ohio– The Cleveland Cavaliers introduced their two selections from the 2019 NBA Draft during a news conference on Friday.
The Cavs picked guard Darius Garland with the fifth overall pick and guard/forward Dylan Windler with the 26th overall pick.
New head coach John Beilein said Garland and Colin Sexton will play beautifully together. He said the pair will make him appear to be a better coach.
“It truly is a two-guard front,” Beilein said. “It allows the guards to have so much more freedom.”
