Even though they didn’t win an Emmy on Friday night, Israel Houghton and his wife Adrienne Bailon Houghton looked like winners as they posed on the red carpet.
Houghton was nominated along with his wife for a creative arts Emmy for their performance of “Secrets” on The Real Daytime.
“I feel so blessed that a worship song was acknowledged & nominated by the Emmys for a performance on a daytime show, Israel Houghton wrote on Instagram. I will forever sing of the goodness of God through the powerful vehicle of worship! Any place. Church or at home, at a prison, a hospital, a youth room, a stadium, or on an Emmy winning daytime talk show!”
