TBN and Big Idea Content Group announced at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention, they will partner to produce all new and original episodes of VeggieTales, the leading children’s faith-based property. Coming to TBN Fall 2019, each episode will remain true to the classic VeggieTales brand to deliver clever storytelling, biblically-based lessons, and memorable songs. Big Idea Content Group is part of UPHE Content Group, a repertoire center of Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.
The first new VeggieTales episode will be a Christmas special that will premiere during the holiday season on TBN and distributed on DVD and Digital download by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. In the new Christmas special Bob and Larry and the entire VeggieTalescrew bring a fresh and new story of the promise of Christmas: God With Us. Other new episodes will explore beloved Bible stories and lessons, including a nine-episode series on the fruits of the Spirit, as well as new adventures starring beloved super-hero characters, LarryBoy and the League of Incredible Vegetables.
