General Motors Ends Production At Lordstown Assembly Plant

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) – President Donald Trump continues to urge the leaders of General Motors, as he took to Twitter Monday morning calling for the reopening of the company’s Lordstown production facility.

The president tweeted, “Close a plant in China or Mexico,” and asked for the automotive manufacturer to bring jobs back to Ohio and the United States.

Over the weekend, President Trump said GM officials and the United Auto Workers group should negotiate immediately so that the plant could reopen.
