The new multimillion-dollar stadium will be in the heart of downtown.
The countdown for the new Crew SC stadium will soon begin this summer when the construction for it will begin. The $230 million stadium will be located Arena District.
Incoming Columbus Crew SC owner Dee Haslam said Wednesday that plans are moving quickly.
The current stadium, Mapfre Stadium, is north of downtown. Once the new stadium is built it will be turned into a training facility and community sports park.
