Former R&B superstar Montell Jordan has released a new book, “Becoming Unfamous: The Journey of ‘How We Do It’ To How He Do It.”

The “This Is How We Do It” singer stepped away from his career in mainstream music in 2010 to become a Worship Minister at Victory World Church in Norcross, Georgia.

Jordan, who made his debut in the music business in 1995, has released seven R&B albums—five of which were released on Def Jam’s R&B imprint Def Soul, one on Koch Entertainment and his last one via Universal Records’ independent branch Fontana.

The Los Angeles-bred performer has been candid in previous interviews about how his promiscuous lifestyle and extramarital affairs, among other things that he felt should have killed him, is why he decided to walk away from his R&B music career.
