Empire’s Taraji P. Henson will be honored with the Lucy award for excellence in television at Women in Film’s annual Crystal + Lucy Awards fundraising gala, which will be held June 15 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Natalie Dormer, who plays Margaery Tyrell on Game of Thrones, has been selected to receive the Max Mara “Face of the Future” award.
This year the Crystal Award for excellence in film is being given to a powerhouse lineup of women producers that includes Denise Di Novi, Lauren Shuler Donner, Lucy Fisher, Lianne Halfon, Lynda Obst, Jane Rosenthal, Paula Wagner and Paula Weinstein.
