I was on the move to New Orleans for the Essence Festival and attended the Mayvenn Beauty Talks event. Hello Beautiful’s Sr. Entertainment Editor, Shamika Sanders hosted and facilitated a Q&A. Industry professionals and influences gathered for dinner at Ralph’s On the Park, organized by Erica Dias. Mayvenn founder and CEO, Diishan Imira shared his journey and passion behind the brand. Imira started the hair company five years ago and already has 65 million in sales.
