According to Fox 28, Police confirmed Saturday morning that one person was killed and another was injured, in an early-morning shooting on South Warren Avenue.
The crime scene at the corner of South Warren and Olive Street stretched for three blocks during the police investigation, which lasted for several hours.
Police dispatchers confirmed the gunfire was reported just before 5:30 a.m. The first victim was pronounced dead at the scene.The second victim was taken to Mt. Carmel West Hospital, and was reported stable with non-life threatening injuries.
No further information was released at this time.
