According to Lettuce Work, over 70% of young adults with autism that are unable to move on to college find themselves unemployed with few prospects for the future. To help provide a solution to this, Lettuce Work recently launched a program that hires students with autism to work in the full greenhouse. Outside of the program, Lettuce Work focuses on raising money to help support employment and job coaching to students with autism. Students complete the program more independent, career ready and adding work experience to resume.
