According to Fox 28, Kings Island is about to kick off its 2018 season.
Saturday is opening day. In the meantime, the park has been testing out rides.
Mystic Timbers ended 2017 winning the Golden Ticket Award for Best New Ride in the World. This season is on track to give its 2 millionth ride.
Kings Island will debut its new restaurant, Coney Bar B Que.
It will offer BBQ favorites such as St. Louis style ribs, Queen City sausage, pulled pork and more.
“We have rotisserie chicken that we are going to be cooking all day long and a bunch, and great side dishes that go well with BBQ,” says James Major, Kings Island Executive Chef. “We’ll be offering specials throughout the year, so everything you can think of to smoke, we will.”
