If you’ve been considering getting yourself a dog or cat, this weekend would be the perfect time to do so. The Franklin County Dog Shelter is waiving all of their adoption fees this weekend, in hopes of adopting out their surplus of dogs. Summer is just around the corner, and Columbus has seen some very warm weather this week. In addition to seeing warm weather, the shelter is seeing an increase in stray and abandoned dogs entering their shelter. In an attempt to rehome their new furry friends, they are waiving all adoption fees. The adoption fees will be waived up until Monday, the 16th.
