This Thursday Night, April 7th, The First Episcopal District of The African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church will present its Old School, New School Gospel Concert at First District Plaza, 3801 Market Street in Philadelphia. Headlining the concert will be Stellar James Cleveland Lifetime Achievement Award Winner Kurt Carr and the Kurt Carr Singers, along with Regina Jackson – McDonalds Gospelfest Female Soloist of the year 2015; and BET Sunday Best Finalists Jamarien Moore (season 5) and Candace Benson (season 7). This concert is part of the AME Church’s First Episcopal District’s 2016 General Conference. Praise 103.9’s Jerry Wells interviewed Kurt during his program on Tuesday, April 5th.
