Big girls don’t cry singer, Fergie, made a comeback this Sunday by singing the National Anthem for the NBA All-Star Game.
After many memes and social media retweets, this was her response to the controversy: “I’ve always been honored and proud to perform the national anthem and last night I wanted to try something special for the NBA,” the Black Eyed Peas singer said in a statement on Monday. “I’m a risk taker artistically, but clearly this rendition didn’t strike the intended tone. I love this country and honestly tried my best.”
Best advice to Fergie is don’t change what’s been working especially if its a song that has been working for over 86 years!
