Being a parent doesn’t come with instructions but one thing that does come with instructions is household chemicals.  The results from consuming chemicals such as bleach can be poisonous, vomiting and cause other harm to the body. This information was overlooked by one parent who was trying to comfort her daughter who is autistic. After reading a discussion in a Facebook group chat that shares how drops of hydrochloric acid and water-purifying solution helps cure different diseases such as autism. When the child’s father discovered this information he reported the mother to the police, the child is currently with Child Protective Services.

According to AutismSpeaks.com, 1 in 68 children are affected by autism. It is very common for parents to try uncommon cures that are banned by FDA due to the life threating risks. There is currently no official cure for the fastest growing developmental disorder but there are medications to help manage the behavioral struggles associated with it.
