Craiglist is a common post for services such as lawn care or upcoming yard sale but never would we think someone would create a request for murder. It was a mystery when 19-year-old, Natalie Bollinger was found on a dairy farm in December with a gunshot wound to the head. Her family and boyfriend didn’t have any leads as to the person responsible for this horrific loss until police officers reviewed Bollinger previous text messages.
Over 111 text messages between Bollinger and Joseph Lopez, 22, the day of her murder gives her love ones more answers to her killer. According to Lopez, he never knew of Bollinger until responding to her craigslist post and accepting the role of assisting in her execution. Police then reviewed the craigslist ad in which Bollinger says she wants to put a hit out on herself.
Lopez is currently being held for murder charges.
