Man, I just washed my car for the first time this winter and now snow is about to make a comeback. According to Fox 28, up to three inches of snow is predicted for late Saturday night into Sunday by meteorologist Rachael Penton, Columbus city crews are preparing.

Spokesperson Jeff Ortega said crews are out pre-treating streets and roads in the metro area in anticipation of possible snow and ice.

He said brine is placed on streets, then salt is applied once the snow starts to fall, and after it stops.

Ortega said the city of Columbus encourages residents to keep track of how crews are keeping up with the changing conditions.

We will keep you up to date on any major weather changes.
