At the 60th annual Grammy Awards, hosted by James Corden on Sunday, Hillsong Worship won the best contemporary Christian music song category. Brooke Fraser accepted the award with Ben Fielding, her co-writer on the song, on stage inside Madison Square Garden, New York.

Fraser is part of the ‘core leadership team’ for the Los Angeles branch of Hillsong Worship, and performs for the group under her married name, Brooke Ligertwood. “This is an absolutely incredible honour,” she said.

What A Beautiful Name, which has more than 112 million YouTube views, includes the lyrics: “What a beautiful name it is / The name of Jesus / What a powerful name it is / The name of Jesus.”

“Myself and all of Hillsong Worship that I’m representing tonight are all about equality and safety in the workplace for women and all people. Obviously that’s a cause we can get behind.”
