Producer, director, actress and author Kim Fields wins at doing it all. But how did she get this way? Her new book Blessed Life: My Surprising Journey Of Joy, Tears And Tales From Harlem To Hollywood is a memoir of her life and all that’s happened to her.
The book chronicles her life from her first audition for a Mrs.Butterworth’s commercial to her life now. You even learn all about her time as Tootie from the hit sitcom The Facts of Life. “That was age 9 to 18. So that covered about 3 chapters, ” explained Fields.
Sybil was really touched by the way she talked about her relationship with her husband in the book and had to bring it up.
“I’m very blessed which is why we used this title because even in the valleys and in the midnight hour…you’re still blessed,” expressed Fields. “But being in the second marriage and all that Chris has poured into our lives and our children. He is an incredible human being.”
