If you have followed Dwayne Johnson’s career from his days in WWE then you may know that he used to call himself the ‘People’s Champ’. His character after he turned on the corporate organization was all about the people and the fans. This sports entertainment story line has transcended in real life. For the last 20 year the Hollywood action star has been the celebrity ambassador for Make-A-Wish foundation. Over the last year and a half he has contributed countless acts of kindness and inspiration that raised the hope and smile of individuals world-wide. This is why E! will be awarding Dwayne Johnson the People’s Champ Award at this year’s People Choice Awards.
