Many stars have been tapped to be part of “Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Harvey Relief” next week.
The event will be broadcast Tuesday, Sept. 12 on ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX and CMT and is organized by Rapper Bun B and Scooter Braun. It airs live at 8 p.m. Eastern for the east coast and will be replayed at 8 p.m. Pacific for the west coast
Some of the stars slated to appear include George Strait, Oprah Winfrey, Beyonce, George Clooney, Reese Witherspoon, Jamie Foxx, Tori Kelly, Matt Lauer, Rob Lowe, Matthew McConaughey, Adam Sandler, Blake Shelton and many others.
Strait is doing a live performance as the finale. He’ll be in San Antonio, Texas.
Funds raised will go to United Way of Greater Houston, Save the Children, Habitat for Humanity, Feeding Texas, Direct Relief and The Mayor’s Fund for Hurricane Harvey Relief.
