Seems like Ohio caught a break in gas prices this fourth of July holiday.

Ohio is experiencing some of the lowest gas prices in the Midwest during the holidays.

GasBuddy.com reports on average gas is around $1.95 in Ohio. One local family says prices are cheaper compared to Michigan.

It’s pretty amazing,” says Frank Bickel. He and his wife Gloria are traveling from Minetto, New York on their way to German Village to meet family. “It’s cheaper here in Ohio than it is in Michigan it’s been nice, ” says Ellen Smith.

The American Automobile Association estimates 37.5 million travelers will hit the road this July 4th.
