With the increase negative publicity that United Airlines suffered while forcefully removing a passenger from one of the flights, the Airline announced that it will raise the financial limit to $10,000 on payments to customers who are asked to give up their seats on oversold flight.
United also said they will increase training for employees after the video showed a passenger being dragged off a flight.
United is also vowing to reduce, but not eliminate, overbooking — the selling of more tickets than there are seats on the plane.
