In three months Lilly Bumpus broke the Girl Scout cookie record by selling 32,484 boxes. The previous record was 26,000 boxes. With the global pandemic and the evolution of shopping, Girl Scout of America enhanced how cookies were sold this year. Girl Scouts were now able to not only participate the traditional way by standing outside your local grocery store, but they were also able to sell cookies online.
Lilly Bumpus did a combination of the two funnels of selling and came out big. Being an eight-year-old cancer survivor breaking records was something that Lilly could not believe she accomplished. She said that 32,484 was, “The biggest number I’ve ever seen.”
