COLUMBUS, Ohio

Three people died in a house fire in west Columbus Friday morning.

 

According to 10TV News.

The two-alarm fire started around 3 a.m. on Cherry Creek Parkway North, near Norton Road and Sullivant Avenue.

Firefighters said three people were pulled out of the house. Another escaped the flames on their own.

 

Sixteen-year-old Abbey Dickerson was taken to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The girl’s mother and grandmother were taken to other area hospitals where they also died. The mother was identified as Jeni Dickerson.

Ted Dickerson, the teen’s father, was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

The name of the grandmother killed in the fire has not been released.
