In the late 90’s Mase infamously retired from being a ‘Bad Boy’ rapper to become a pastor. Years later Mase made a comeback to music. New year new Mase… again? As of Sunday, January 3, 2021, Mase was named the new pastor of Gathering Oasis Church in Atlanta according to hollywoodunlocked.com and the church’s Twitter account.
Welcome back to the ministry Pastor Mason Betha! When Mase returned to rap in 2004 he returned to join 50 Cent and G-Unit (Gorilla Unit). Now that he is back in the pulpit maybe he will operate under a new “G-Unit”. A ‘God Unit”. The Gathering Oasis named him, “The New Leader of the GO’s”, so maybe the “G-Unit” is the ‘GO-Unit’. Either way we are glad to see Mase back preaching the word and hope that he is back for good!
