Reports states officials have found more debris that possibly came from the plane that vanished over Lake Erie last week was found Tuesday on the shoreline. They have said, “many of more than 120 pieces of debris found are consistent with that type of aircraft and a bag from the plane was found.”
Tuesday was the third consecutive day that weather conditions allowed searchers to look for the Columbus-bound Cessna 525 Citation that vanished shortly after takeoff Thursday night from Burke Lakefront Airport.
So far Brian Casey and his daughter, Megan, were identified as passengers alongside John Fleming, his wife Sue and their children, Jack and Andrew. The passengers attended a Cleveland Cavs game and boarded the plane after the game to return home. Shortly after takeoff, the plane disappeared.
At this moment the search area covers 12 miles and with this new discovery have officials determine to recovery the lost plane and passengers.
