Pastor Shirley Caesar broke the internet with a viral video of her singing, “Hold My Mule” that has been remixed into a hilarious Thanksgiving tribute called the U Name It Challenge.
She talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about her new place in pop culture and reveals how she really feels about the videos accompanied to the hit gospel song.
“I never thought in my wildest dreams it would be this big. It’s mind-boggling, I’ve been trying to wrap my mind around what’s going on. A few years ago when I was recording a live session at my church, I recorded Hold My Mule.
