Friday night lights will not just be for high school football in 2017! The Big Ten announced this week that six conference games in 2017 will be played on a Friday night.
Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith told the Dispatch, “We will participate in hosting one (Friday night) game once every three years,” The Buckeyes will only host a Friday night game when area schools are on fall break mid-October. It has not be announced of Ohio State will host a Friday night game in the 2017 but it is possible they could play an away game on a Friday night. The 2017 schedule is set to be announced in the next couple of weeks.
