We are sending all our prayers up for Toni Braxton to get well and speedy recovery. Many we shocked to hear that the Grammy winner was rushed to an Atlanta hospital suffering complications with lupus. According to TMZ, she has been hospitalized for four days but reports are sketchy as to if she checked herself in or if she was transported by ambulance.
The gossip site reported around 3 pm yesterday (Monday) that Braxton was checked out by doctors in Atlanta and allowed to travel to Los Angeles for further treatment. A rep told the site that “Toni was getting treated for lupus but says she’s doing better now, and she’s hoping to start rehearsals soon for an upcoming tour.”
Braxton back in 2010 announced that she was diagnosed with Lupus and had been suffering from the disease from some time. Lupus is a chronic, autoimmune disease that can damage any part of the body (skin, joints, and/or organs inside the body).
Her boyfriend Birdman flew out from New York to be by her side. He was currently on tour with his Cash Money artist Jacquees. The two went public with their relationship earlier this year.
