You may have heard the story of the donkey that was in the well and couldn’t get out. The farmer couldn’t get him out, so he decided to bury the donkey and fill up the old well. The donkey was crying pitifully, but when it felt the dirt falling on his back he would shake it off and stomp in under its feet. After a while the donkey shook off the last shovel of dirt and stepped right out of the well. We can learn from the donkey… we need to shake things off and put it under our feet. Shake off hurt, unfair things, mistreatment and the like…
