Bishop Eddie Long of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church has gone on a mysterious sabbatical after commenting on an unspecified “health challenge” he is going through.
Bishop Long said he believes God will deliver him from a certain “health challenge,” but explained that his new vegan diet does not have anything to do with that. Sources at New Birth are assuring that all is going well with Bishop Long.
Bishop Long released a statement as follows:
“I am recovering from a health challenge that I trust God to deliver me from. It is unrelated to the eating for life diet consisting of mostly raw vegetables that I am continuing, as part of a holistic approach to good health,”
