Officials are warning resident about a gang threat to hit their neighborhoods.

WBNS reports that the international criminal gang MS-13 may be making their way to Pike County this weekend. Why? Their goal is to take out “snitches” involved in the drug gang.

Via WBNS:

The Pike County Sheriff’s Office issued a safety alert after receiving reports that gang members are possibly planning on coming into the county.

The alert stated that gang members plan on “taking out” believed snitches and will spread a heavily laced heroin that could lead to overdoses.

The information on the gang’s possible planned activities in the area came from “very limited intelligence deputies have gathered in recent drug-related investigations,” according to Sheriff Reader.

If you see suspicious activity please call 911.
